Welcome to 2026! I trust everyone had a blessed Christmas Season and are ready for 2026! I wanted to give you a quick update on what is going on at Grace English School in Khathati, Karbi Anglong, Assam, India.

I will first share our exciting highlights so far this year!

Our church here in Lodi, CA has a special time each Christmas time of a special offering called Advent Conspiracy. This offering is then divided between different ministries. This year we were blessed to be one of the ministries to be given a portion of the offering. We are excited to share that this gift will enable us to have a real computer room established on campus. We will purchase new computers and desks. This will give our 5^th-8^th grade students an opportunity to learn about computers and how to use them safely. This gift gives our students one more step in being able to have a better education which in turn opens so many more opportunities for them in years to come.

I also have a Prayer request for our village and surrounding area. Our village is in a district called Karbinglong. Right now, things are very tense with tribal wars. The Christians could not enjoy Christmas celebrations out in the open for fear of being attacked and their homes destroyed. The election will be coming in spring, meanwhile please pray for new leadership to be elected that is more friendly towards Christians and peace to return to the district.

As an update, currently we are behind in the donations needed monthly to maintain our teachers, and daily expenses. We have taken actions to cut expenses and curb spending as much as possible. Inflation has hit India and so many of the things that the school needs to function has increased dramatically in price. As many of you know I have some challenges with India Immigration. As a result, I have stayed here in the States until things cool off. Fortunately this has NOT prevented me from being involved in the day-to-day decisions and workings of the school and staying in contact with staff multiple times a week. Many decisions can be made by phone, email and text and I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve.

This past year I have experienced a drop in my support. I am currently running behind what I need. I know I have a God who will supply ALL my needs and I trust him to take care of me and the school.

As of today, I am believing that the Lord has opened the door for me to return to India even if only for a month this year. Please pray with me for the finances, timing and wisdom as I step out in faith.
