“I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart: I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.” PSALMS 9:1

Wow, it is already December! I cannot believe 2025 is almost over. It has been a busy, marvelous year for Grace English School. We have seen God’s hand in so many areas this year. We have watched our school grow not only in size, but also our students have learned so many new things not just book learning, but also how to be a caring loving student who loves Jesus and others.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR YEAR 2025!

In April we were happy to see Aman Subba and Bettie Mech return to school for a visit. Both young men attended Grace English School and this year they came back for a visit after graduating 10th grade and heading off to college. Raju (our headmaster) had them share how important studying is to prepare for the future.

May: We had our first 8th grade graduating class of 14 students.

Also in May, we had our first Parent/Teachers meeting. It was wonderful to see so many parents participate. It was a productive time for parents and teachers to share success and challenges with each other. The parents were all excited to share how thankful they were for their children to have the opportunity to attend Grace English School.

On May 20th, we celebrated Foundation Day, Celebration 18 years of Grace English School. The children invited their parents and people in the community to enjoy a program and refreshments.

Sadly on June 2, one of our 3rd grade students passed away from an injury he had over the weekend while playing with his friends. Our students and staff took flowers and money they had collected to the family. The students also planted a tree on the school property in memory of Sarbinang.

Our two new classrooms were finished and painted along with our other classrooms getting a much-needed refresh.

We are excited to offer our older classes a computer class this year. We currently have only one computer for the class. We hope to be able to add more computers in the future. They also have a class to teach them about Cyber Security awareness when they are on the computer or phones.

In September, the children celebrated their teachers on Teachers Day in India. They again put a program together to show how much they appreciated them. It was a fun day of songs, skits and refreshments and gifts for each staff member. We are blessed with a wonderful staff who all love and care for each one of our children

November was Children’s Day in India. The children love this day because they get special treats and games. This also means they get to put on another program, which is always fun for everyone.

I have asked our Headmaster, Raju to share with you about what is going on at school currently. Here is his note…

We are fine, the students are fine, their studies are going on. Two exams have been completed. Many people have improved in their studies in this exam. We have a total of four exams and every week there is a class test. Our class is filled in March and the enrollment starts in April. Many parents come to enroll their children. We feel proud that there is no other school like ours in this place. This is also said by the parents of the students. Because along with the facilities, we are also progressing in studies. We teach projects, audio visual classes, and how to pray in the class. We also conduct Bible question and answer programs. We follow every school event. Sometimes we organize competition programs by the teachers so that they are encouraged. On the day of final results, we give awards to the students who have the school topper. We also conduct prize distribution programs on the annual sports day.  Our students have also been helping with social work, such as providing financial assistance if something happens at the home of a student (death, illness, etc.). They are getting everything from food to supplies. We are very grateful to the helpers. With your continued support, God's great work is being done here.

As you can see, we have seen God do some marvelous things at Grace English School and we give him ALL THE GLORY.

PRAISES/PRAYER REQUESTS:

I want to thank each one of you who supports the school with prayer and financial support. We are currently running shy on monthly support, consequently, we will end the year with a projected short fall. Please pray about sharing a monthly or one-time gift.

I could not do this ministry without your prayers and financial support. I am grateful to each of you. I am facing a shortfall in my support this year. If you feel led to help me with my support this year, I would be so appreciative.

I would love to return to India this fall if the Lord opens the door for me to get a visa this year. God can do marvelous things, and I am trusting Him to provide.

I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
